Taken during the BC Legislative Interns' trip to California. Gorbachev was due to visit San Francisco around the time we were there. This shop at Haight Ashbury was selling cheap (and cheap looking) t-shirts to mark the occasion. Hard to believe that the Simpsons were around when there was still a Soviet Union.
